BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has urged party workers to focus municipal election campaigns on civic issues and the Congress government’s unfulfilled promises, accusing Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of using abusive rhetoric to divert attention from governance failures.
BRS leader T. Harish Rao criticised the Congress-led Telangana government for failing to control a diarrhoea outbreak in Demikalan village, Kamareddy. Blaming contaminated water and poor sanitation, Rao highlighted the deaths of two villagers and demanded the immediate declaration of a medical emergency.
Harish Rao criticized the Chief Minister's approach, stating that government decisions are being made from high-security zones, while Grama Sabhas in villages are held under police supervision. He accused Revanth Reddy, who had promised to hold Praja Darbar and meet the public daily, of governing from behind closed doors for the past year and neglecting people's participation in governance.
