The ADR, in a new report, said between 2016-2020, 182 of the 405 re-contesting MLAs, who switched political parties, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), followed by 38 who joined the Congress and 25 who joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
Senior Congress leader and former sarpanch of Junuthala of Gurrampode mandal Lingampally Venkataiah resigned from the grand old party and joined the TRS at a programme in Nalgonda
The BJP is eyeing the prestigious Titabor seat, which was held by the three-time chief minister who died due to post-COVID complications on November 23 last year.

All India Mahila Congress president Sushmita Dev asserted that the Congress and the grand alliance believe in accountability and the guarantee of jobs.
