The exhibition is being organized by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) to mark Hyderabad Liberation Day observed on September 17.

Nagesh won by 90,932 votes, which was substantially higher than what the party candidate, Soyam Bapu Rao secured in 2019 when he defeated Nagesh, who was the TRS candidate then, by 58,560 votes.

Adilabad Parliament constituency, comprising seven Assembly segments such as Adilabad, Boath, Nirmal, Khanapur, Mudhole, Sirpur (T) and Asifabad went for polls on May 13.

BJP's Nagesh is wooing the electors by promising to revive the CCI unit, to form a railway line between Nirmal and Armoor and to address major challenges of the district if elected.

Returning Officer Rajarshi Sha said that nominations of 10 candidates were rejected due to various reasons, while papers of 13 nominees were accepted when officials carried out scrutiny of the papers

A total of 12 sets of nominations were received from eight candidates of various parties including two Independents.
