A total of 682 persons recovered on Thursday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,71,649 with a recovery rate of 96.94 per cent.

The number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 95,20,827 pushing the national recovery rate to 95.40 per cent.

It said 27,728 new coronavirus cases were registered, a figure close to the daily record of nearly 30,000 infections reported on Friday.

A total of 1,296 persons recovered on Saturday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,50,453 with a recovery rate of 94.03 per cent.

The total recoveries surged to 83,35,109 on Wednesday, pushing the national recovery rate to 93.52 per cent.
