According to The Seattle Times, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) has officially stated that Officer Daniel Auderer has been reassigned to a non-operational role as of Thursday.
On January 23, 23-year-old Kandula was hit by a police vehicle driven by Officer Kevin Dave while she was crossing a street. At the time, he was traveling at a speed of 74 mph (over 119 km/h) en route to a drug overdose call.
