Following the resignation of Justice L Narasimha Reddy, who was heading the one-man Commission of Inquiry, the State government decided to appoint Justice Lokur on Monday.

BRS leader Manne Krishank condemned the remarks of Justice (Retd) L Narasimha Reddy against former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and MLC K Kavitha. He termed them inappropriate and disrespectful.
