In the wake of Covid outbreak in the second weave, Municipal Corporation Karimnagar is now organising yoga classes for the sanitation workers including sweepers, drain cleaners, and garbage collection workers.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Mayor said, “If they visit projects, they have to appreciate the development done by the State government. So, they were not daring to visit the irrigation projects.”
Warning of action against contractors if norms were not followed on the quality of roads, he said all steps have been taken to lay roads strictly following the quality norms.
Sunil Rao made it clear that there was no question of compromising on the quality of Smart City works and action would be taken against contractors if any irregularities were taken place.
