TGNPDCL has launched a modernisation project to bring 1500 substations under a real-time feeder monitoring system. The RTFMS, tested and installed across 16 circles, will help reduce power disruptions, improve supply quality, and ensure quicker response to faults
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka directed TGNPDCL officials to set up new power substations in Khammam and Warangal districts to meet growing electricity needs. He also emphasised safety measures, solar power projects, and ensuring electric ambulances in each constituency.
According to NPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Karnati Varun Reddy, the company was planning to convert about 20 substations into unmanned operations by September 30 in Hanamkonda and Warangal Circles.
Complaints can be made in the Division Office, ERO, Sub-Division Office, Section Office on every Monday from 10 am to 1 pm and in the Circle Office from 3 pm to 5 pm.
As the occurrence of local faults increases during rainfall, posing a risk of accidents, he instructed electrical workers involved in distribution to exercise caution and follow specific precautions to prevent accidents.
The CMD directed the officials of Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Adilabad and surrounding areas of Godavari to be cautious and respond immediately to emergency works.
