  • Telangana: Cold spell hits Asifabad, Adilabad for second day

    The Sirpur (U) mandal center in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district recorded a minimum temperature of 9.9°C, while Tiryani mandal headquarters saw a minimum of 11°C. Other mandals including Kerameri, Wankidi, Rebbena, Asifabad, Chintalamanepalli, Kaghaznagar, Bejjur, Lingapur, and Dahegaon experienced minimum temperatures ranging from 12°C to 14°C.

    Penchikalpet Forest Range Officer M. Anil Kumar stated that a pack of wild dogs was spotted drinking from a percolation tank in the forest. He clarified that the dogs were a common species, not a rare one.
