Penchikalpet Forest Range Officer M. Anil Kumar stated that a pack of wild dogs was spotted drinking from a percolation tank in the forest. He clarified that the dogs were a common species, not a rare one.

Forest department officials reported that a male tiger from the Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary, spanning Nanded and Yavatmal districts, has been roaming the forests near Panapatar village in Jainoor and Thadihathnoor village in Narnoor mandal. On November 18, the tiger moved toward the forests of Narnoor.

Asifabad Forest Range Officer Govind Singh Sardar reported that Kumsoth Krishna from Metpalli and Banoth Shankar from Sarwaipet village were apprehended while attempting to smuggle teak timber in a car.
