A 20-year-old man from Maharashtra's Thane district has been arrested on the charge of killing his 69-year-old father who apparently frequently abused him.
Warishe, a crusading scribe working for 'Mahanagri Times' publication, met with an "accident" late on Monday and succumbed on Tuesday morning, sparking a furore in state media circles.
The last minute change saw Nayak and his son-in-law Tejavath Srinivas pick up one Babu from the Nizamabad Railway Station and kill him at Venkatapur village.
The arrested persons are Ghouse Pasha (22) of North Lalaguda, Mohammed Nayeem (22) and Mohammed Zakeer Hussain (23), both residents of Lower Tank Bund.
