The HMWSSB Managing Director, Ashok Reddy advised the officials to be alert towards the Musi River catchment areas in the wake of forecast of more rains.
Reviewing section-wise water supply along with tanker bookings and deliveries at a meeting held here on Saturday, MAUD Principal Secretary M. Dana Kishore directed officers to ensure that there were no disruptions in water supply.
The police stations including Rajendranagar, Nasingi, Langer Houz, Bahadurpura, Kulsumpura, Afzalgunj, Chaderghat, Chaitanyapuri, Malakpet and others were asked to post police pickets to avoid gathering of public.
