The Chief Minister, who held a high-level review meeting, said it was decided to procure paddy from villages, as was done last year, in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19.
As per directions of CM K Chandrashekhar Rao, the authorities are making arrangements to set up total 6,491 procurement centres across the State for the benefit of farmers
Chandrashekhar Rao directed the officials of the departments of Agriculture, Marketing and Civil Supplies to plan procurement accordingly and ensure that farmers do not face any inconvenience during the process.
