According to party leaders, Raut was moving towards the stage at Charminar, from where Rahul Gandhi was resuming his yatra, but before he could reach the venue, the police started pushing people to make way for Rahul and in the melee Raut lost his balance and fell down sustaining minor injuries.

Bhatt, the first noted Bollywood celebrity to have joined the Yatra, was seen walking with Gandhi while having a discussion with him.

Gandhi will attend a corner meeting at Muthangi before halting for the night, the party sources said. This is the eighth day of the party's campaign in the state.

On the fourth and final day of the Yatra in the state, Rahul Gandhi along with party leaders and scores of party workers resumed the Yatra Friday morning from Mantralayam in Kurnool district.

Meanwhile, party sources confirmed that another scion of the Gandhi family, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is most likely to take part in the padayatra on Saturday.

He resumed the Yatra from Banavasi village in Yemmiganur mandal in the morning. Accompanied by leaders and workers of the party, he walked till Mugati village.
