Former Boath MLA Rathod Bapu Rao has quit the Congress and is likely to join Telangana Jagriti. The leader, who switched parties multiple times in recent years, is learnt to be unhappy after being sidelined within the Congress.
Rao had earlier joined the BJP after being denied a ticket by the BRS at the time of the Assembly elections last year. He was expecting a BJP ticket from the Adilabad Parliament segment.
