Senior BRS leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail has demanded a judicial inquiry into the auction of Waqf land at Raidurg belonging to Jamia Nizamia, urging the State government to halt all transfers until its legal status is verified.
BRS minority leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail has appealed to voters in Jubilee Hills to reject alleged cash inducements from the Congress party and vote with integrity. Citing trauma caused by mob violence, demolitions, and religious restrictions, he argued that such suffering cannot be compensated by small cash handouts.
The Congress government had delivered only Rs.3,003 crore budget for minority welfare whereas it promised a budget of Rs 4,000 crore earlier, says BRS leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail
"The Congress party has included a proposal in its Minority Declaration to provide financial assistance to "newly-wed couples" instead of directly assisting the poor parents of the bride. This means that the bridegroom's family, rather than the girl's parents, would benefit from the scheme," BRS leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail said.
