RERA imposes fine on builder for not registering the residential project with it, but advertising it. Says its violative of RERA rules

A builder who used an agreement of sale which was different from the one he submitted to the TGRERA, while registering the building, was ordered to pay penalty

The Authority directed the developer to refund payments to buyers and prohibited it from entering into any further development agreements. It also instructed that the developer's details, along with photographs of the promoters, be posted on the TGRERA website under the list of defaulters.

In the notice, TGRERA directed the firms to respond within a week as to why action should not be initiated against them for violating the RERA rules.
