Doctors at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, successfully treated a 48-year-old morbidly obese man from Vijayawada who suffered a near-fatal cardiac emergency caused by massive fluid accumulation around the heart. Emergency surgery restored cardiac function, and the patient was later discharged in stable condition.
