Trader caught while door-delivering urea at night in Asifabad
A trader was caught in Asifabad’s Sirpur (T) mandal while delivering urea to farmers at midnight. Though officials confirmed the consignment had valid documents, they said action would follow as the delivery violated guidelines.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A trader was caught while allegedly door-delivering urea to farmers at Bhupalapatnam village in Sirpur (T) mandal on Friday night.
On receiving information from locals, the police rushed to the village and found the trader for giving the urea to the farmers. They then shifted the lorry containing the urea to the office of Kagaznagar DSP. They asked the trader as to why he was delivering the fertilizer at night, surprising many.
Agriculture officials who inspected the vehicle clarified that the trader had valid invoice and documents relating to the urea. However, action would be taken against the trader for door-delivering the fertilizer at midnight, the officials said.
