63-acre Relief and Rehabilitation centre for Palamuru project oustees
Minister Niranjan Reddy said the R&R centre is coming on 63 acres and plots have already been developed in 50 acres where amenities would be provided at a cost of over Rs 27 crore

Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy on Sunday laid foundation stone for the Relief and Rehabilitation centre at Gouridevipally where houses with amenities would be provided to the oustees of Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme from Bandaravipakula.
The Minister said the R&R centre is coming on 63 acres and plots have already been developed in 50 acres where amenities would be provided at a cost of over Rs 27 crore. An educational institution, temple, park and gram panchayat office along with water and power supply would be provided.
He said the same compensation that was given to oustees in the constituency of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would be given to the people of Bandaravipakula. Justice would be ensured to those who could not apply and to the remaining 167 people.
At the same time, necessary steps would be taken to do justice to 318 people who declined the plots and houses. “We will extend necessary benefits to all the beneficiaries,” he said, adding that he would personally supervise the works at the centre at Gouridevipally.
MP P Ramulu promised to spend money from his MPLAD funds for the development of the centre and assured that the State government would extend all possible help to the oustees.
