CLAT 2026 records over 96% UG attendance across India
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 was held nationwide on Sunday with nearly full attendance, 96.83 percent of Undergraduate and 92.45 percent of Postgraduate applicants. The test was conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities across 156 centres in 25 states, 93 cities, and 4 Union Territories.

Hyderabad: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026, the centralised national-level entrance examination for admissions to National Law Universities, was conducted on Sunday with 96.83 percent of Undergraduate applicants and 92.45 percent of Postgraduate applicants appearing for the test.
The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs), which conducts the test, in a statement said that the test was conducted across 156 centres in 25 States, 93 cities, and 4 Union Territories.
For CLAT 2026, a total of 92,344 candidates applied for the examination. Among them, 75,009 candidates registered for the Undergraduate (UG) programme, while 17,335 candidates applied for the Postgraduate (PG) programme.
The Consortium will release the Provisional Answer Key on its official website at 5 pm on December 10 and candidates wishing to raise objections regarding the questions or the provisional answer key(s) may do so through the designated portal created for this purpose.
The objection submission portal will open at 5 pm on December 10 and will close automatically at 5 pm on December 12.
