CM KCR conveys Ramzan greetings, urges to follow Covid-19 norms
Pointing out that the government was officially celebrating Ramzan, he pointed out that the Telangana government was treating all religions with equal respect and working tirelessly to maintain communal harmony.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao extended greetings to the Muslims marking the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan. He wished that the fasting and prayers performed during the month of Ramadan would bring harmony and happiness. He also wanted the culture of Ganga Jamuni Tehjeeb prevailing in the State continues to flourish and the spirit of brotherhood among people would strengthen further.
Pointing out that the government was officially celebrating Ramzan, he pointed out that the Telangana government was treating all religions with equal respect and working tirelessly to maintain communal harmony.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister recalled that the State government was implementing numerous developmental and welfare programmes for economically backward Muslims. He said the State government’s support through schemes like Shaadi Mubarak was contributing to bring a qualitative change in the lives of poor Muslim women. He stated that several schemes were being successfully implemented for the education of Muslim minority children and was happy that the minority residential welfare schools were yielding good results.
Chandrashekhar Rao expressed satisfaction over many schemes and programmes meant for the Muslims are bearing the fruits and bringing in qualitative change among the people. He urged the Muslim brethren to offer prayers in strict compliance with the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the government in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic in the State.
