Satyanarayana stated that the police were striving hard to address the problems and to fulfill their needs by coordinating with various departments. “Either directly or indirectly, police play a vital role to the growth tribals. That’s the prime intention,” he reiterated.
The commissioner said that foreign voluntary organization came forward to set up unit, after being approached by local police Sub-Inspector P Rama Rao as part of community policing. He advised the tribals not to cut branches at the time of plucking leaves meant for making the plates. He suggested them to plant saplings and to gather large quantities of leaves for storing.
The IPS officer further assured to create marketing opportunities in Kaghaznagar, Asifabad, Mancherial and other towns of erstwhile Adilabad district by speaking managements of functions and traders. He stated that similar self-empowerment and job creation initiatives would be taken up by police soon. He was all praise for Rama Rao for going an extra mile to develop tribal communities.
The head of district police force interacted residents Dabagudem, Punaguda, Doddiguda, Arjuguda, Chiklaguda, Rajaguda, Gudivada and found out their deficiencies. He promised to create road and hospital facilities as sought by the dwellers. He was accorded a traditional welcome on his maiden arrival at the village. Tribals played musical instruments and trumpets when they were welcoming him.
Superintendent of Police (Administration) YVS Sudheendra, Mancherial DCP Uday Kumar Reddy, Additional SP Acheshwar Rao, Rebbena inspector Satheesh, Tiryani Sub-Inspector Rama Rao and FSO Pranay were present.
