Telangana players who won the titles in the All India women's tennis tournament in Panipat.
Hyderabad: Sanjana Sirimalla and Omna Yadav defeated Selvie Pal and Devanshi Goil of Gujarat 6-1, 6-2 in the doubles final of the All India women’s tennis tournament in Panipat (Haryana).
However, Sanjana, a trainee at Gurunath Dame Academy NSTA Iriset Club (Secunderabad), lost to Hasini Yadav, also of Telangana, 5-7, 5-7 in the singles final.

Pranav wins tennis title
Pranav Korade of Suresh Krishna Tennis Academy defeated Sivadeep Kosaraju 7-5, 7-5 in the singles final of the All India Tennis Association men’s tennis tournament at Ash Tennis Academy (Shamirpet) near here.
Pranav is trained by Suresh Krishna.

Rapid Open chess on March 1
A2H Chess Academy will be organising the Rapid Open prize money chess tournament on its campus in Kukatpally here on March 1 with a total prize money of Rs,15,000.
The event features six rounds in Swiss League format and has no age limit, open to all players, including rated, unrated and new players.

Indian shuttlers dominate at Dutch Junior Internation
Dev Ruparelia continued his winning run at the YONEX Dutch Junior International 2026, defeating Clement Massias in straight games 21-13, 21-11 to book his place in the pre-quarterfinals on Friday. He will next face fourth seed Chung-Hsiang Yih of Chinese Taipei.
In other men’s singles action, Nishchal Chand endured a hard-fought 1 hour 21 minutes contest against Hong Kong’s Chan Yee Hei to emerge victorious. Nishchal edged the first game 21-19, but Chan forced a decider by taking the second game 21-10. The Indian held his nerve in a tense finish to claim the decider 23-21, advancing to the Round of 16 where he will take on Denmark’s 12th seed Frederik Hinding.
In women’s singles, Shaina Manimuthu defeated Denmark’s Ida Nissen after dropping the opening game 19-21. She bounced back to win the next two games 21-7, 21-7 in 37 minutes to progress to the next stage, where she will face Korea’s Han Bi Kim.
