Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based ambulance service and patient logistics provider StanPlus is expanding its offerings to new cities and has launched its operations in Bengaluru. The startup has launched its Red Ambulance service in Bengaluru wherein an ambulance reaches the patient in 14 minutes and has deployed over 100-plus vehicles in Bengaluru city.
The ambulance market has been dominated by local players who take 45 minutes to reach the patient and operate on a pure pay-for-play model. However, StanPlus is looking to address this issue by offering premium quality medical responses to patients, especially during the pandemic. “We have reduced the response time for ambulances to 14 minutes with call-to-wheel time resting firmly at two minutes,” said Prabhdeep Singh, CEO, and founder, StanPlus.
To make deep inroads within its new market, the company has tied up with hospitals like Sakra World Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital, Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, and Fortis Hospital, among others. Through the Red Ambulance platform, these hospitals have already outsourced their ambulance services to StanPlus.
In addition, the platform is looking at strategic tie-ups with ancillary companies such as MyGate, Mfine, and mobility platforms such as Yulu, Rapido, and Bounce to enable emergency services to their patrons. Many corporates also rely on the RedAssist Platform to enable on-demand ambulance and emergency management service and currently, the platform manages emergency management for over one million.
Singh said, “Seeing the massive response to Red Ambulance in Hyderabad, our foray into the Bengaluru market was the next natural progression. We identify Bengaluru as a key market for our growth trajectory, and are geared up to become the de facto ambulance service company in the city.” Going ahead, it is planning to launch a patient-facing app to further augment the end-user.
