A farmer died of electrocution in Medak district while attempting to repair a borewell pumpset. The victim came into contact with live wires at his farm in Yellapur village. Police registered a case and shifted the body for postmortem.

Students of a social welfare residential school in Sangareddy staged a protest alleging insect-infested food, lack of power and water, and abuse by the warden. Student organisations joined the agitation, demanding immediate action and the warden’s suspension.

After over 15 hours of rescue efforts, relief swept through the authorities, family, and onlookers upon hearing the toddler's cries captured on camera. Additionally, a parallel pit to the borewell has been dug by the rescue team.

Earlier, the Director of Delhi Fire Services Atul Garg has said that a child had fallen in the borewell, but Delhi Minister Atishi after her visit to the spot said that a person had fallen in the borewell.

Director of Delhi Fire Service Atul Garg said that initial message "was received at around 1 a.m. that a person had fallen in the water treatment plant following which teams along with five tenders were rushed to the spot which is DJB, Keshopur Mandi".

The boy was playing when he slipped into the borewell at Ukkalgaon in Manwath tehsil around 11 am. The borewell is not being used for the past few years

A 3-year-old child, who fell into borewell has been rescued in Nalanda district of Bihar on Sunday.

As per the available information, a farmer dug the 40-feet borewell but failed to close it properly, leading to the tragic incident of the three-year-old boy falling into it.
