BRS Party youth wing leader Nimma Rajinikanth Reddy alleged that the Centre gave stepmotherly treatment to Telangana while giving priority to other states in the budget allocation.

The trouble started during Question Hour when senior BRS MLA T Harish Rao asked the government to announce a date by which the RTC staff would be recognised as government employees.

Former BRS MP B Vinod Kumar urged Telangana Congress and BJP MPs to demand that the Centre address the injustices done to the State in the union Budget.

He is learnt to have stated that a party could strengthen itself internally when it is in the opposition.

In a three-hour long meeting, Chandrashekhar Rao discussed the strategies and directed the legislators to put up an united and well-coordinated fight to press on the people's issues.

Slamming the State government for curtailing the budget session, Harish Rao said the Congress government was not only evading promises made to the people but was also evading facing questions in the Assembly.

"We hoped that Telugu daughter-in-law, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, would allocate significant funds to Telangana. But what we got is nothing," he stated.

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is scheduled to present the full-scale budget on July 25, with a reported outlay of more than Rs.2.9 lakh crore.

In a press statement on Thursday, Prabhakar said the conditions mentioned by the government in the GO would deprive many farmers of the benefit.

Harish Rao on Thursday offered to resign if the Congress government could fully implement its six key guarantees involving 13 promises along with the waiver of farm loans up to Rs.2 lakh by August 15.

Referring to the tall claims being made by the Congress government and the propaganda launched by it on the loan waiver, Niranjan Reddy called it much ado about nothing.

While 25 councilors of the BRS and nine from BJP voted in favor of the motion, councilors belonging to the Congress and AIMIM did not participate in the voting held in a special meeting chaired by Revenue Divisional Officer Vinod Kumar.
