Presenting the budget in the AP Legislative Assembly here on Thursday, Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath said that the budget focused on stable development and good governance.
The CLP leader said the State government had proposed an expenditure outlay of Rs 2,90,396 crore, but nearly Rs 70,000 crore out of it won't come as they were Central funds and grants.
Out of the total budget allocated to Mission Bhagiratha, Rs 1,000 crore has been kept for maintenance, Rs 900 crore for urban schemes and Rs 600 crore for rural schemes
He said that FM Nirmala Sitharaman had admitted that 34 percent of the country's budget was being spent to clear debts and that 20 percent of the country's budget was being spent on paying interest.
