This video went viral on all over social media platforms, and many of them woke up by releasing the message that checking ingredients is important before buying a product.
In the now-deleted video, Himatsingka called out the brand for “miscommunicating” on its package about the products’ “nutritional value”, and ridiculed the claims it made on the packaging
This is not the first time this brand is being given a boycott call. Last year, consumers in India accused Cadbury of putting a beef element in dairy milk and later the brand clarified that all its products in India are 100% vegetarian.
The major reason for this backlash is a picture that states that the chocolate includes gelatine, and the gelatin being used is halal certified and derived from beef.
