Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj said an integrated draft electoral roll would be published on January 6, and between January 6 and 22 claims & objections would be received.

If the postal ballot votes counting continued beyond 8.30 a.m. simultaneously EVMs counting would commence.

The counting exercise began at around 8 am. Initially, the ballots were segmented into bundles and the first round of counting is in progress.
