Association president Azharuddin at logerheads with Apex Council members over Ombudsman issue

'Interim president' John Manoj slams Azhar as police stop Apex Council members from entering Gymkhana

Vicepresident John Manoj, secretary R Vijayanand, joint secretary Naresh Sharma, treasurer Surender Agarwal and Councilor P Anuradha are facing enquiry under Rule 41(1) (b) by the Ombudsman.

The former Indian captain describes as it another episode enacted by the people calling themselves as Apex Council in the ongoing struggle for power.

The vaccination drive is carried for all the players, coaches, support staff, club members, staff and employees and others associated with the Association.

'Interim' president John Manoj said Azharuddin had violated the constitution on many counts and let the SGM decide on the future course of the association

The Director of Public Health Dr. G. Srinivas Rao has directed the DM & HO of Medchal and Hyderabad to organize this camp ovid-19 Free Vaccination Camp at these two venues.

Azharuddin reiterates that he is heading the HCA and the five Apex Council members continued to be suspended from their posts

For Diliep, this new appointment is recognition for his fine work as fielding coach for the India A team in recent times.

In a significant development Vijayanand was invited along with Azharuddin to represent Hyderabad Cricket Association.

TCA secretary Dharam Gurava Reddy said the HCA officials have to take the permission of BCCI if they intend to take up cricketing activities in the districts

“The HCA, which is responsible for the management and development of cricket in Telangana has ten districts as its members, modelled on erstwhile combined state of Andhra Pradesh in which Telangana had ten districts.’’

Even as Azharuddin had reiterated that Apex Council’s decisions as illegal, the statement by secretary R Vijayanand could spark another controversy.

If the city is known for rich culture and supreme talent that produced a cream of famous cricketers in the past, Hyderabad is now in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Azharuddin said he had written a letter to the secretary (R Vijayanand) on June 6 to not to conduct any meetings as it is illegal.

Attends the BCCI’s virtual SGM as he gets the nod ahead of Shivlal Yadav

Azharuddin says he doesn’t recognise these illegal appointments and he would not be liable as president for any payments

This statement comes a day after Vijayanand had announced the appointment of Shivlal Yadav as representative of HCA to the virtual meeting of BCCI's SGM on May 29

He says there is no fairness and no transparency in the appointment of the CEO in the Hyderabad Cricket Association
