The Telangana State Development Planning Society has forecast that the city will receive light to moderate showers at isolated places for the next two days.
The automatic weather station (AWS) of Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) at Kapra recorded the highest temperature in the city, at 33 degree Celsius.
Several localities in the city, including Asifnagar, Nampally, Secunderabad, Saroornagar and Alwal, received light showers towards the afternoon. Secunderabad received maximum rainfall of 0.6 mm on Thursday.
The cyclonic storm over Arabian Sea, Tauktae, however, has brought down the maximum day time temperatures in Hyderabad by seven degrees to 32.6 degree Celsius
The maximum temperature on Wednesday was 30.5 degree Celsius, which is 1.7 degree Celsius above normal while the minimum temperature was 0.9 degree Celsius below normal at 13.8 degree Celsius.
However, weather officials said the drizzles were a temporary occurrence and that the minimum temperatures, which had dropped considerably in the last few days, could slightly climb back up in the next three days.
