The National Medical Commission has announced 43,250 CRMI internship slots for the 2026–27 academic year to address the shortage of training seats for foreign medical graduates. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh received significant allocations to help clear the backlog of eligible FMGs.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has announced internship opportunities for 500 students from its partner institutions in the field of standardisation.
For the internships, the universities would allot a minimum of two to four credits out of 120/160 credits of a three-year UG, four-year UG (Honours) or four-year UG (Honours with research).
The SBIT chairman Gundala Krishna who inaugurated the programme informed that the internship was being offered in association with Swechha Telangana to equip students with practical professional learning experience
