The cheque for Rs.1 crore was handed over to MA&UD Minister, KT Rama Rao by Errabelli Pradeep Rao, president of Telangana Poultry Federation along with general secretary Mohan Reddy.
During the next 10 days, all the MLAs should inspect the situation in the rain-affected areas and monitor relief and rescue operations, the Minister said.
The Minister appealed to all residents in low lying areas and those staying in the first and second floors to shift to relief camps immediately and not to put their lives at risk.
As per the directions of CM KCR, officials are distributing Chief Minister Relief Kits which consist of provisions and essential commodities sufficient for a month and three blankets
