BRS working president KTR cited various news reports on the deteriorating State revenue including a steep fall in Hyderabad's realty market.

He pointed out that the Chief Minister was claiming that the State was drowning in debts while simultaneously initiating grand programmes like the Musi project with Rs 1.5 lakh crore.

"Every day, Revanth Reddy complains about the state's rising debts, yet he is pursuing expensive initiatives like the Musi Riverfront project, which many consider unnecessary," he said, questioning the rationale behind the state government's plans.

They pointed out that the Congress party was orchestrating the smear campaign and demanded stringent action against those responsible for the misinformation campaign.

In a clear reference to a leader who had made misleading promises to gain votes, Rama Rao challenged the Congress government, questioning who was responsible for exploiting the poor of Musi by not implementing the Rythu Bandhu scheme.

He offered prayers for Naresh Reddy's soul to rest in peace and expressed heartfelt condolences to his family. Senior BRS leader Harish Rao also conveyed his deep sorrow over Naresh Reddy's passing, highlighting that Reddy was always approachable to the public and garnered respect as a commendable leader.

KTR also warned that the government will have to bear the brunt of farmers' ire, if it fails to deliver on electoral promises

Rama Rao took to X to criticize Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for misleading farmers by promising a loan waiver of up to ₹2 lakh during elections but only partially implementing it, benefiting around 22 lakh farmers. "The Chief Minister falsely claimed to have fully completed the loan waiver, but the Agriculture Minister's statements have revealed his failure to fulfill that promise," Rao stated.

His challenge followed a post by a netizen, Olirtudeg, on X, who suggested that if the Congress government genuinely valued the project, it should dissolve itself and seek a fresh mandate from the public.
