Rama Rao highlighted significant cuts affecting farmers, calling it unjust. He said the government was deceiving vulnerable groups, including women, the elderly, the differently-abled, and the poor.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao claims that the delay in pumping from Kaleshwaram is due to political vendetta and that farmers were suffering due to apathy of the Government. He wanted the Government to pump water at least now from Kannepally pump house.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister and the BRS working president engaged in verbal duels over different issues, including the absence of the BRS chief in the House.

As part of his annual Gift A Smile initiative, he also supported the families of 13 weavers who died by suicide in the State and provided financial aid for their children's education and future needs.

Weavers, who were already in crisis due to lack of orders from the State government, had pinned their hopes on getting GST exemption in this budget.

BRS leaders and workers celebrated the event by cutting cakes and distributing sweets. 

Only a few members exchanged greetings and pleasantries and spent some time with each other.

The House expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the former member and offered condolences to her family. Members cutting across party lines recalled the services rendered by Lasya Nanditha as a corporator and member of the State Assembly.

"We hoped that Telugu daughter-in-law, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, would allocate significant funds to Telangana. But what we got is nothing," he stated.

Rao responded to a tweet of Meenakshi on X (formerly known as Twitter) and said: Many thanks. Glad You are taking care of the saplings.

He emphasised the urgent need for extensive discussion in the ensuing Assembly session and pass a resolution to be sent to the Union government.

He stated that the Medigadda barrage, which was written off by the Congress government, had disproved all the allegations against it by standing resolute and rocksolid surviving the flood once again

The flyover was built at a cost of Rs. 28.5 crore by the R&B department and is around one kilometer long.

Taking to X, Rama Rao said after hoodwinking people for nearly seven months, the government implemented the crop loan waiver scheme which turned out to be a disaster.
