Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy urged British companies to invest in the Musi Rejuvenation project, pharma, EV sector, and Future City development. The Rs 430-crore Mir Alam Bridge project, connecting Shastripuram to Chintalmet, is set to begin in November, reducing travel time for 1 lakh commuters and boosting connectivity in south Hyderabad.
Deputy Chief Minister said the Telangana government would introduce Rohith Vemula law shortly and the law department was already working on drafting a foolproof piece of legislation.
Kavitha said the government should first take up cleaning of the Musi river and then work on rehabilitation of the affected people and after completing all the necessary works, take up the project. Without doing all these, the government was going ahead with the Musi rejuvenation project and creating problems for thousands of people, she said.
