Christmas celebrations at the historic Medak Cathedral began with a dawn procession of the cross led by Bishop K Reuben Mark, followed by special prayers and cake distribution. Thousands of devotees from Telangana and neighbouring states participated, filling Medak town with festive activity.
Former Minister and senior BRS leader T Harish Rao congratulated newly elected sarpanches and ward members of 26 gram panchayats in Medak, asserting that voters had resisted Congress attempts to influence the elections through money and authority.
