South Central Railway has introduced new parking and traffic measures at Secunderabad railway station as part of redevelopment works. Parking is restricted on Platform No 1, while controlled access and paid basement parking are available on the Platform No 10 side to ensure smooth traffic flow.
The officials had slapped show-cause notices in June against 26 owners of commercial establishments including hospitals and shopping malls who had rented out cellars to shops, diagnostic centres and warehouses instead of allowing customers to park their vehicles.
