Hyderabad police arrested a three-member gang involved in house burglaries and two-wheeler thefts and recovered stolen property worth Rs 13 lakh. A goldsmith in Uppuguda who allegedly purchased the stolen valuables was also arrested following the accused’s confession.
Kavadi Ravi alias Eakala Pedda Ravi was involved in a dacoity case reported at Chegunta police station and another case at RC Puram police station in 1990 were arrested by CID officials
The arrested persons were identified as Rahul Kumar Sharma (36), a resident of Charminar, Kattela Anoop Kumar (30) of Nagole and Sunkam Raju (30) of Nizamabad, presently staying in Bengaluru.
