Heavy rain (6 cm to 12 cm) has recorded in six mandals in Warangal Urban district including Warangal, Hanamkonda and Hasanparthy mandals.

Siddipet district has received 110 mm average rainfall as Mulugu witnessed a record 210 mm rain during the past 24 hours at 8.30 am on Wednesday.

The Vice President sympathised with those affected by the excessive rains and urged all the people to follow the administration's directions to stay safe.

During the last 24 hours, Serilingampally recorded the maximum rainfall of (63.5 mm) and across the State, Dubbak in Siddipet registered the maximum rainfall of (104.8 mm).

The Groundwater Department monitored these water levels during September with the help of 963 Piezometers (monitoring stations) covering 589 mandals from 33 districts.
