BRS leader T Harish Rao demanded a crop holiday and input subsidy for Singur ayacut farmers, alleging that delayed repair works had affected irrigation. He also accused the Congress government of neglecting irrigation projects and failing to support Telangana farmers.
Former Minister T Harish Rao alleged that the Congress government halted the Sangameshwara and Basaveshwara lift irrigation projects and delayed repairs to the Singur project. He also urged BRS booth-level agents to ensure that voters were not deleted during the revision process.
