The Telangana Congress accused the Opposition BRS of boycotting the Assembly session to avoid scrutiny of its failures and irregularities. Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao alleged that BRS was unwilling to respond to questions on the allocation of Krishna river waters under the Palamuru-Rangareddy project.
BRS leader T Harish Rao criticised the Congress government’s Hyderabad Industrial Land Conversion policy, calling it a major land scam. He sought an immediate Assembly session, a full probe and answers to key questions on revenue loss, land valuation and alleged favours to builders.
