The victim Jyothi Kumari (35) and her husband Raju, both natives of Nagarkurnool district were married for 15 years and the couple, along with their daughter was living in Agriculture Colony in Hasthinapuram.
Rula Khan (58), a farmer from Thangadpalli in Chevella, was stabbed to death by a group of unidentified persons in his house when he was alone on Friday.
Thanoor Sub-Inspector Rajanna said the deceased was Kerubai (30), a widow, and the accused was Laxman, a mason and native of Bosi village in the same mandal.
