BRS has called for a protest across Telangana on Thursday to demand that the state government completely waive off Rs 2 lakh crop loans of all farmers without any restrictions.

The protesting farmers claimed that most of them, despite being eligible, have not received their loan waiver amounts. In response, bank officials had to lock the entrance to prevent the farmers from entering the bank.

Despite villagers notifying the irrigation officials about a minor breach a week ago, they did not respond promptly. The villagers attempted to repair the breach using their own funds, but it eventually developed into a major breach, causing all the water to flow downstream.
