Young farmer dies by suicide in Warangal amid debt burden
A 33-year-old farmer from Nekkonda in Warangal district died by suicide after allegedly consuming pesticide due to mounting debts, with farmers blaming the government for failing to extend financial support under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.

Warangal: Suicides by farmers due to debts and crop losses continue to be reported in Telangana, with farmers accusing the Indian National Congress government of failing to provide financial assistance under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
In the latest incident at Nekkonda in Warangal district, a young farmer, Sankineni Sambaraju (33), died by suicide due to mounting debts. It is learnt that he came under severe stress after being unable to repay loans taken for farming and family needs and consumed pesticide in his farm field on March 8.
Family members rushed Sambaraju to a private hospital in Hanamkonda, where he died on Monday night while undergoing treatment.
Local police registered a case in connection with the farmer’s death and have taken up investigation.
