Hyderabad: Colive, an online rental accommodation provider of ready-to-move-in homes, opened its doors for healthcare workers and police officials to use its facilities free of cost, amid the Covid-19 crisis.
The company is enabling medical fraternity and other frontline workers including ambulance drivers and ward boys, to use its facilities across 120 plus properties spanning Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune. In Hyderabad, Colive’s properties at Gachibowli, Gowlidoddi, Wipro Circle and Financial District are now open to frontline workers.
The company is also reaching out to corporate hospitals to create awareness on this move and extend this facility to workers. Soon, other frontline workers such as delivery boys will also be able to use these facilities.
Suresh Rangarajan, founder & CEO, Colive, told Telangana Today, “We wanted to offer our property to frontline workers to stay and relax before they continue their work. We are noticing that it is not just doctors and nurses, but ambulance drivers, ward boys, police officers and corporation workers are all suffering, and we are trying to help them.”
“Also, a large number of Club Colive members have been requesting to be part of a social activity and we thought it would be a great way to involve them in this cause and seek their help to deliver essential services in the neighbourhood,” he added.
Colive Heroes will deliver fresh cooked meals from their facility, along with any essential items or medicines for senior citizens and households where members are unable to step out.
Rangarajan added, as part of the month-long drive starting May, frontline workers can go to the nearest Colive property by locating it from the website or through the Colive App, to avail sanitised facility, stay, meals and internet connection for anytime from a few hours to a few days, free of cost. They will have to produce their employee ID card, vaccination proof and Aadhaar card.
Alternatively, these frontline workers can call on the 24×7 customer care number 7676000500 and press nine to be connected to a Colive representative for guidance.
Colive operates with an inventory of more than 30,000 beds, spread over six million sq ft area in four cities of India.
