A case of murder was registered against the three accused at Naya Nagar police station in Mira Road.

The 40-year-old man allegedly threatened and raped the 13-year-old victim several times in the house, in the absence of her mother.

Prosecutors said Wheeler admitted to conspiring with her husband to keep her out of prison.

“We are trying to take up this case in a fast track court and get him punished. We have filed a memo in this regard with the authorities concerned,” the official said.

According to the police, unidentified persons entered the ATM centre, which was on the main road and had no security guard after midnight.

The victim, identified as Harish (28), a private employee from Jillelaguda, was attacked by the assailants in a secluded place at around 4 am.

The arrested persons are Mahendra Singh Rajput, Tan Singh and Om Singh, residents of Gowliguda and Shahinayathgunj.
