Peddapalli: As part of India-Denmark Energy Partnership (INDEP) study programme on ‘Flexibilization and Waste Heat Recovery in Thermal Power Plant’, a high-level delegation from Danish Energy Agency (DEA) visited NTPC-Ramagundam on Saturday. Chief General Manager (Ramagundam & Telangana) Sunil Kumar and other senior officials welcomed the delegates as well as senior officials from corporate centre and SRHQ.
Before visiting prominent locations in the plant, the delegates attended a meeting at O&M Conference Hall wherein AGM (EEMG) Manoj Kumar Jha in his presentation highlighted power scenario in India, Southern Region as well as impact of ramping on unit-7 of NTPC-Ramagundam.

Later, accompanied with CGM (IBD) NTPC NM Gupta, GM (O&M) Soumendra Das and other NTPC senior officials, the nine-member delegation comprising five members from Danish Energy Agency, two members from COWI (a leading international consulting group) and two members from Embassy of Denmark visited Unit-7 control room, boiler & turbine area and discussed on technical aspects.
The delegates also visited FGD area in Telangana project, Miyawaki forest and 100-MW floating solar project wherein GM (Project) Prasenjit Pal, GM (TS) PK Laad and GM (RE) AK Vemula respectively spoke on its uniqueness and progress. The delegates and NTPC senior officials planted saplings in the township. NTPC senior officials and others were present on the occasion.
