Hyderabad Metro to increase frequency of trains
Hyderabad Metro Rail increases services to 56 trains across all hours due to RTC strike, reducing wait times on key corridors. Frequencies improved on Miyapur-LB Nagar and Nagole-Raidurg lines, with possible extension of last train beyond 11 pm for commuters

Hyderabad: In view of the RTC strike, the Hyderabad Metro Railin consultation with LTMRHL has decided to increase the frequency of metro trains to the maximum possible.
LTMRHL will operate 56 trains both in peak and non-peak hours during the strike period in order to reduce the inconvenience caused to the citizens of Hyderabad due to the RTC strike.
On a normal weekday 56 trains are provided during morning and evening peak hours (8 AM to 10:30 AM and 5 PM to 8 PM) with a gap of 3 minutes 40 seconds between two consecutive trains. During non-peak hours the frequency is reduced while maintaining a gap of 4 minutes 50 seconds on Miyapur- LB Nagar (C1) and 5 minutes 20 seconds on Nagole – Raidurg (C3), utilising 44 trains.
In view of RTC strike it has been decided to operate maximum trains (56) throughout the day with 4 minutes 20 seconds gap on Miyapur – LB Nagar corridor and 3 minutes 40 seconds gap on Nagole – Raidurg corridor.
Further, LTMRHL on the request of HMRL, to mitigate the hardships of people due to the RTC strike is also examining the possibility of extending the last metro train service beyond 11 pm.
