Hyderabad: CPI National Secretary K Narayana said injustice was meted to both the Telugu States in the union Budget and assured to extend all support to TRS in its fight against the BJP.

“Not a single promise made in the AP Reorganisation Act was fulfilled by the Central Government. We will involve TRS party at national level in the fight BJP,” said Narayana.

Addressing media persons here on Friday, the CPI National Secretary supported the remarks of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on the union budget. However, he found fault with the Chief Minister’s comment on the Constitution.

The union budget was more corporate-friendly and ignored the welfare of farmers and allocations to agriculture sector, he said.

“Since there are elections in five States, Central Government repealed farm laws,” charged Narayana, adding no allocations were made to agriculture sector in the budget as the Centre was against the farming community.

He condemned the attack on Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and demanded a thorough enquiry into the incident, besides initiating stringent action on the accused.

CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said employees were struggling a lot due to GO 317 and appealed the State Government to amend the rules.
